PITTSBURGH (Aug. 6, 2019) – Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC midfielder Kenardo Forbes was named to USL Championship Team of the Week after posting a pair of assists in the club’s 4-0 victory against Memphis 901 FC this past Saturday at Highmark Stadium.
The team captain notched his first helper booting a corner kick to Tobi Adewole‘s head in the 27th minute. He later assisted Jordan Dover on his goal in the 64th minute off a through-ball inside of the penalty area.
Forbes now leads the club with six assists this season, which also ranks tied for third in the Eastern Conference. In addition, he paces the squad with 45 chances created, which is the fifth most in the Eastern Conference.
This is the fourth time the Kingston, Jamaica native has been named to Team of the Week this season.
