BIO
Langston Blackstock is entering his second season with Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC in 2024.
As a first-year pro, Blackstock appeared in 24 matches, starting 12 of them. Though he came to the Hounds as a forward, he fit into a variety of roles in his first season, including time as a wing back and midfielder, and he recorded two assists in his debut campaign.
Prior to Pittsburgh, Blackstock enjoyed a successful college career at Division II Clayton State University. In his senior season he led the Peach Belt Conference in scoring with 15 goals, earning him First-Team All-Conference and All-Southeast Region honors. In four seasons at Clayton State from 2019-22, Blackstock racked up an impressive scoring haul with 32 goals and 12 assists in 65 games for the Lakers.
Blackstock began his college career playing his freshman season at Coastal Carolina, where he made eight appearances in 2018 for the Chanticleers. He also appeared in USL League Two with the Southern Soccer Academy as an amateur player.
