The Gene Klein High School Summer Soccer League will kick off this summer at the AHN Montour Sports Complex in Coraopolis, with both boys and girls 7v7 play running from mid-June through July.
With play on Tuesday nights for girls’ teams and Wednesday night for boys’ teams from 6-10 p.m., the league will provide area high school teams an opportunity to compete against different competition and enhance their development during the summer months. Most importantly, it will provide a venue for high school players to play in a fun and structured environment ahead of the fall high school season.
Specifics on the league format — including considerations of school size/classification — will be determined at a later date based on registration numbers for the league. Registration will be $940 per team and will run through May 1.
